What You’ll Do
As the Office Administrator, you will:
- Be responsible for overseeing administrative functions, building operations, and facility rentals
- Provide administrative support to staff and participants
- Ensures the organization maintains a welcoming, safe, and efficient environment for all visitors, participants, and employees
- Support daily site operations by maintaining clean, organized, and fully stocked common spaces, meeting rooms, and office areas
- Support building operations by coordinating repairs, maintenance, janitorial services, renovations, and other facility-related needs
- Maintain the site’s equipment and shared resources
- Support special events, projects, and initiatives
- Collaborate with staff and contribute as an active member of the administrative team
- Perform other related duties as required
What You Bring
Required Qualifications
- Certificate or diploma in Business Administration or a related field from a recognized post-secondary institution
- Minimum of 2 years of administrative or office support experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in the non-profit sector
- Experience supporting facilities, building operations, or reception services
Conditions of Employment
Successful candidates must provide:
- A clear Police Information Record Check
- A clear Intervention Record Check
Full-time: Monday to Friday, 35 hours a week | 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Location of Employment: Centre 104 Office Tower (5241 Calgary Trail NW, Edmonton)
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $20.00 per hour
- Eligibility for benefits after 3 months of employment
- Eligibility for RRSP matching after 6 months of employment
