Exploring Art
This exciting program is for Autistic teens ages 13-17.
Taught by professional artists in a studio atmosphere, teen artists will explore projects that allow them to express themselves while meeting new friends.
Projects include:
- Drawing with pastels, pencils, and markers
- Painting with acrylics and watercolours
- Ceramics
- Printmaking techniques such as linocuts and monoprints
- Mixed media compositions
Exploring Art will stimulate your imagination while developing cognitive and problem-solving skills.
At the end of the spring 2023 term, you’ll have an opportunity to display and sell your best work in the Stollery Gallery and online!
This Winter program runs for 8 sessions on Saturday afternoons from 12:30 pm – 2:30 pm.
