Workshops for Professionals/Schools/Community Organizations

CFASA offers a variety of educational and professional development workshops for people who support and serve Autistic individuals including:

  • Teachers, Educational Assistants, and Other Educators
  • Medical or Health Practitioners
  • Emergency Services (e.g., police, paramedics, firefighters, etc.)
  • Community Organizations
  • Employers and Businesses
  • Other Interested Community Members

Our workshops are typically two hours but can be customized to fit your needs—ranging from shorter sessions to half- or full-day workshops with hands-on activities and tailored examples.

They can be delivered in-person at your location (travel fees may apply outside Greater Edmonton), at our Edmonton office (up to 50 participants), or virtually as live webinars.

We regularly update topics based on new research, the living and lived experiences of Autistic individuals, and community feedback. If you’re interested in a topic not listed, please connect with us—we’re committed to creating meaningful professional development opportunities.

You can participate in our workshops in one of two ways:

1. Join a CFASA event. Throughout the year, we host professional development opportunities for community members—both in person (Edmonton) and online.
