The Centre for Autism Services Alberta Announces a New CEO.
Edmonton, AB – The Centre for Autism Services Alberta is excited to announce Jonathan Robb as our new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). In his new role, Jonathan will work closely with the Centre’s teams, Board of Directors, and key stakeholders to build on the solid foundation laid by long-time leader, Deborah Allard Usunier.
“I am honoured and excited to join such a leading organization in the autism community,” Jonathan said. “Deborah has left an incredible legacy, and I look forward to building on her work alongside the passionate, and dedicated team that serves individuals and families across the province. Together, we will continue to drive meaningful impact and continue to support the Autistic community throughout Alberta.”
Jonathan brings a wealth of leadership experience, a passion for the Centre’s mission, and a record of fostering impactful change. His vision for empowering Autistic individuals and their families aligns seamlessly with the Centre’s purpose, and are confident the organization will continue to make strides in providing vital support and services to the Autistic community across Alberta.
The Centre for Autism Services Alberta would also like to express our deepest gratitude to Deborah Allard Usunier. Under Deborah’s leadership, the organization has expanded its programs, strengthened community partnerships, and increased its impact across the province, impacting over 3,000 lives annually. Her unwavering dedication and vision have been instrumental in the Centre’s growth, and we thank her for her extraordinary service.
“I want to thank all past and present board members, staff, donors, partner agencies, and families who have supported the work of the organization over my 17 years as Executive Director,” Deborah said. “It has been a joy working along side all of you. Staff at the Centre are the most incredibly talented, brilliant and dedicated individuals that I have ever had the pleasure to lead. I wish Jonathan all the best as he takes on his new role, I know that all of the Centre staff, families and stakeholders will support him as they did me”.
Deborah will be officially retiring at the end of January, and we wish her all the best in her well-deserved retirement. Her legacy will continue to inspire the work of the Centre as we build upon the remarkable foundation she helped create.
As we embark on this new chapter, we remain committed to our purpose of empowering Autistic individuals and their families to thrive. We look forward to the continued growth of our programs and services and to further strengthening our community connections under Jonathan’s leadership.
