Our Senior ACE Summer Respite is all about fun your child will love!
Each day is packed with art, science, and movement activities inspired by their interests. In a safe, inclusive space, kids build skills, make friends, and have a great time doing it.
Summer Respite General Info
- 7-hour daytime sessions for 5 days (4 days for the weeks following the Canada Day and August long weekends).
- Parents will be asked to keep children home if they are experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms.
- Regular hand-washing is required of all participants and staff.
- Participants are required to bring their own snack, lunch, full water bottle, and weather-appropriate clothing.
- Participants should bring a swimsuit, towel, and change of clothes daily.
Senior Ace Summer Respite is an approved use of FSCD Respite hours. With an FSCD agreement in place, the parent registration fee is $100. Summer Respite will utilize 35 hours of respite per week/28 hours on a short week. Without FSCD, the cost of Summer Respite is $650 per week.

- When registering, please ensure you are using Google Chrome as your browser.
- In order for Summer Respite to be a safe and fun experience for everyone, your registration will not be confirmed until our team contacts you. This will happen once you’ve completed the online registration and payment.
- Maximum registration per child is two weeks until May 19, 2026. At that time, registrations will be open to families wishing to register for more than two weeks.
- Summer Respite support is a 2:1 ratio. 1:1 support is available upon request, but spots are limited. Please email Cassidy at summerrespite@centreforautismab.ca if you would like a 1:1 spot.*1:1 spots ARE NOT AVAILABLE during the first week of Summer Respite.
- Bursaries are available for those who qualify. Please contact our office at 780 488 6600 if finances present a barrier.
