Let’s skate!

FOR ALL EXPERIENCE LEVELS! Our Skating Program offers highly supported, confidence-building sessions for children and youth who are learning to skate or looking to strengthen their skills. Each session includes time to get ready, practice putting on skates, and participating in skating-themed warm ups before heading onto the ice. Once on the rink, children and youth work on essential skating mechanics such as stopping, turning, and safely getting up after a fall, all while taking part in fun games and activities. With knowledgeable staff and occupational therapy support, every child learns in a supportive, encouraging environment designed to build skills, independence, and enjoyment on the ice.

*All participants need a helmet and skates. If you don’t have a helmet and skates, there are free-of-cost used options available from us and our partners at Sports Central.

Skating takes place on Thursdays from 5:15 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.
