The Centre for Autism Services Alberta needs your help to furnish and stock our newest community apartment in Old Strathcona!
With a second off-site Quest apartment ready for participants sitting empty, we need our friends and supporters to help us raise $10,000 to provide the furniture and supplies that will allow Questers to move in and begin practicing social and life skills.
What is the Quest program?
Quest for Independence was developed to support young adults with ASD in building skills of independence for living and integrating into the community. With the program’s recent expansion, it now operates out of one on-site apartment at the Centre and two off-site apartments in Old Strathcona. In these apartments, Quest participants learn how to prepare meals, keep house, manage money and plan social engagements, develop vocational skills through job sampling, and explore their communities through social and recreational activities.
