  • Celebrating the Small Steps: An Introduction to Task Analysis

Trying to teach your child to do up his zipper? Feed herself? Cross the street safely?

This interactive workshop will teach you the skills you need to break these activities down into simple, achievable steps for you and your child. Bring your questions and challenges to discuss and we will provide strategies to help you. We will share lots of helpful videos and examples to reinforce these new skills, and questions are welcome throughout the presentation!

About the Presenters

Katrina Wong, MOT, Reg. OT (AB), Occupational Therapist, has been with the Centre in various capacities since 2019. She received her Master of Occupational Therapy degree from the University of Sydney. Katrina enjoys working with children and watching them learn and grow.

Emma O’Riordan, MSc., OT (R), Occupational Therapist, has been with the Centre since 2018. She received her Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy at the University of Alberta in 2017. Emma is passionate about supporting families of children with autism to build skills that will serve them through all phases of their child’s life.
