AIDE Canada Workshop: Preparing for a Fun and Safe Summer

About the Workshop:

This workshop will help you plan for the upcoming summer months with your child. Learn how to make the most of summer by supporting leisure activities, home routines, and community access and safety. Attending and participating in this workshop will give you the skills to help your child grow in their interests and independence. You will also learn ways to support safe community participation, whether through accessing structured activities or going to the pool as a family.

This workshop is for parents and caregivers of school aged children, hosted by AIDE Canada and presented by the Centre for Autism Services Alberta.

About the Presenter:

Anne Beattie

Anne Beattie, MScOT(c), Manager of Clinical Program Development, has been with CFASA as a Clinical Supervisor since 2017, an Occupational Therapist since 2012, and since 2008 in other capacities. Anne received her Masters in Occupational Therapy from the University of Alberta in 2012.
